Navalny Banned from Publishing Online for 10 Years

The Moscow City Court has banned opposition leader Alexei Navalny, who was sentenced to 19 years in prison for extremism, from publishing anything online for ten years. This was reported by the court's press service to RBC.

It is worth noting that on August 4, Navalny and former technical director of the YouTube channel Navalny Live, Daniil Kholodnin, were sentenced for creating an extremist community.

According to the court's press service, "A.A. Navalny is sentenced to 19 years of imprisonment in a special regime correctional colony and is deprived of the right to engage in any activities related to the publication of appeals and other materials in publicly accessible information and communication networks, including the internet, for a period of ten years."
