Three People Killed in Shooting in the U.S.

A shooting occurred in Columbia, located in the southeastern region of Washington State, resulting in the deaths of three individuals, with two others injured, according to the local police department. This has been reported by RIA Novosti.

“On Saturday evening, our officers responded to a call in the southeast area, Good Hope Road residential neighborhood, where gunshots were heard. ...At the scene, five people affected by gunfire were found. Three individuals were pronounced dead at the location,” stated Acting Police Chief Pamela Smith to reporters.

It was noted that among the deceased were two men and one woman. The two injured parties, both men, have been hospitalized. The city's police department is conducting an investigation into the incident.
