Masked Armed Robbery at Restaurant: 5 Million Drams and Several Million in Drinks Stolen

A masked and armed robbery took place at the "Vahagni" restaurant complex on the Ashtarak highway today. This was reported by shamshyan.com.

It was noted that around 4:30 AM, a call was received at the Mashtots police department from 72-year-old M.S., a resident of Yerevan, reporting the robbery.

"It was revealed that two masked individuals, armed with pistols, entered the 'Vahagni' restaurant complex on the Ashtarak highway, bound M.S.'s hands and feet with adhesive tape, and then threatened them with a weapon before stealing the cash register and drinks from the hall, then escaping," the site reported.

According to the website, the masked individuals stole approximately 5 million drams and drinks worth several million drams from the restaurant complex.

A criminal case has been initiated in the investigative department of the Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts regarding the incident.
