Shooting in Yerevan: One Man Dead

On August 7, a shooting incident occurred in Yerevan resulting in a death. At approximately 1:00 AM, the "Astghik" medical center reported to the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs' Malatya police department that a citizen had been admitted with a "gunshot wound to the head." According to the medical personnel on-site, the injured man passed away without regaining consciousness. Police have identified the deceased as 39-year-old Arsen Hovhannisyan, a resident of Yerevan. It was revealed that an unknown individual fired at A. Hovhannisyan in the vicinity of 52 R. Melikyan Street, leading to his death at the hospital.
