49-Year-Old Man Electrocutes and Dies at Neighbor's House While Working
A tragic incident occurred today, August 5, in Yerevan. At approximately 10:15 AM, an alarm was received by the Arabkir subdivision of the Emergency Medical Services indicating that the ambulance group number 11 had been dispatched to 29 Khapantsyan Street, where they discovered the body of a man. According to the police and investigators, the deceased was identified as Vahagan Kh. (49 years old), a resident of Yerevan. Preliminary information suggests he died from electrocution while working at his neighbor's house.
No signs of foul play were detected on the body during an external examination. At the direction of Investigator Vardanyan, a forensic examination of the body has been ordered. A criminal case has been initiated based on the charge of violating safety or security regulations during the performance of construction, mining, or other works, resulting in the unintended death of a person.
