Accident on Spitak-Gyumri Highway: 1 Dead, 2 Injured
Today, on August 6, a tragic car accident occurred in the Lori province. Around 12:45 PM, two vehicles, a Shevrolet Cruze and a Vaz 21-04, collided head-on on the Spitak-Gyumri highway, in the administrative area of Mets Parn. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.
According to the site from the scene, one person died on the spot, while two others, who were first aided by the Spitak fire brigade that was on duty and the emergency response team that arrived promptly from the Spitak Medical Center, were transported to the center. The doctors provided initial medical assistance to the injured before they were taken to the hospital.
One eyewitness, who had no connection to the accident, also felt unwell. However, after receiving necessary medical aid from the Spitak doctors, he refused to go to the hospital, stating, “I live in Shirakamut, I am already feeling better; you fixed me, I will go home.”
It is noted that the police and the Investigative Department are working to identify the drivers, the deceased, and the injured people.
