Accident in Nor Yerznka: 'Mercedes', 'Nissan', and Two 'Toyotas' Collide, Two People Hospitalized

On August 6, at 15:01, the crisis management center of the Aragatsotn regional rescue department received a call reporting an accident in the village of Nor Yerznka, involving a collision of vehicles, with a gas leak detected; emergency assistance was required.

This was announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the RA. A firefighting-rescue unit from the ministry's regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene.

It was established that at the beginning of the village of Nor Yerznka, vehicles involved in the accident included a 'Mercedes-Benz' (driver: V.H., born in 1989), a 'Toyota' (driver: D.S., born in 1991), another 'Toyota' (driver: Sh.M.), and a 'Nissan' (driver: N.H., born in 1973). The 'Nissan' veered off the drivable part of the road, while the 'Mercedes' overturned.

Before the rescuers arrived, a passenger in the 'Toyota' vehicle, L.S. (born in 1995), was hospitalized at the Ashtarak Medical Center, where the doctors assessed the victim's condition as satisfactory.

Rescuers closed the gas cylinder valve of the 'Mercedes-Benz', disconnected all vehicles, and with the local forces, assisted the 'Toyota' driver Sh.M. to the ambulance. The injured individual was hospitalized at the Ashtarak Medical Center.
