"I woke up and looked into the eyes of these little ones, and I realized how great they are and how small we are - I, you, he, who do not have the courage to look into their eyes every day." This was written by Artsakh teacher Hermine Avagyan on her Facebook page, accompanied by photographs.

“Before rushing to work, look into these children's eyes and you will see how your inner Human awakens; if it does not awaken, then your inner Human has long been trapped in the claws of your ego, and all the checkpoints leading to you are closed... Their eyes do not want your pity, they want justice. They are not begging you for bread; they are asking for their childhood. They do not blame you when you generously share photos of various dishes on social media - with or without your children - but their eyes hold a question, an inexplicable question: why...,” she wrote.

She also added that the eyes of these little ones, living under siege, hold no dreams; instead, there is a will to live, a strong essence of a true Armenian is growing and emerging within them. The revival of our nation's dying spirit will start from these eyes, which have been left in oblivion and solitude...
