Photos: Doctor Strikes Pedestrian with Mercedes, Victim Dies on the Spot

A doctor from the "Martuni" Medical Center struck a pedestrian with his Mercedes, resulting in the latter's immediate death. This was reported by shamshyan.com.

The deadly incident occurred in Gegharkunik Province yesterday, August 1, around 20:40. Vardan G., a 51-year-old resident of Gegharkunik, struck the pedestrian, 73-year-old Nver K., in front of number 35 on Kamoy Street in Martuni.

It is noted that the driver did not flee the scene and called for an ambulance. The medical team that arrived promptly at the "Martuni" Medical Center confirmed the pedestrian's death.

According to media reports, the driver works as a doctor at the "Martuni" Medical Center and underwent a sobriety test at the scene, which showed he was sober.
