Explosion Near Russian Airbase in Crimea

An explosion has been reported near the Russian airbase in the village of Gvardeyskoye, Crimea. This was informed by 'Radio Svoboda'. Specifically, information was received about the explosion in the vicinity of the village of Gvardeyskoye in the Simferopol region, where the Gvardeyskoye airbase is located.

The airport is under the jurisdiction of the Russian Federation's Air and Space Forces. The radio station reports that the 37th Mixed Aviation Regiment of the VKS is stationed there. Authorities in Crimea have not yet commented on the incident.
