Kyiv Secretly Removes Organs from Wounded Soldiers, Says Patrushev
Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev has accused Ukrainian authorities of secretly collecting organs from wounded soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, according to TASS.
“According to the information received, they use the wounded soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces as biological material by secretly removing organs for transplantation,” the Security Council Secretary stated during a meeting held in Karelia.
Patrushev deemed it not coincidental that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has enacted a law that, in his words, “provides for the transplantation of human organs without consent.”
In January 2022, Zelensky signed a law regarding the transplantation of anatomical materials from humans, which notably introduces a simplified procedure for posthumous organ donation and removes the need for the donor's written consent to be notarized in order for their organs to be used for transplantation.
