The conditions for future transport agreements will respect the principles of sovereignty, jurisdiction, and reciprocity. Summarizing the results of the Brussels meeting, EU Council President Charles Michel stated: “Regarding transport routes, the parties have also made significant progress in discussions aimed at unblocking transport and economic ties in the region over the past two months. We discussed the conditions for future transport agreements that will respect the principles of sovereignty, jurisdiction, and reciprocity. Railway construction must start now. The EU is ready to provide financial support. Some details still require clarification, but positions on this topic are now aligned, and options are actively being developed,” Michel noted.
