Vitaly Balasanyan Arrested on Suspicion of Violence Against a Government Official

The former Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Artsakh and a hero of Artsakh, Vitaly Balasanyan, has been arrested. This was reported by his lawyer, Raphael Martirosyan, on his Facebook page.

"He has numerous injuries on his body," Martirosyan wrote. The lawyer informed that Balasanyan is suspected of committing a crime under Article 337, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Artsakh (Violence Against a Government Official).
