VIDEO: Forest Fires in Russia - State of Emergency Declared in Nevyansk

A state of emergency has been declared in the Nevyansk city district of Russia’s Sverdlovsk region due to forest fires, with at least 30 homes affected by the blaze, reports Readovka.

The state of emergency will remain in effect until July 21. In the village of Shaydurikha, which has suffered the most from the fire, the evacuation of residents has already been announced. The forest fire there continues to rage and has "covered" more than 30 homes.
