VIDEO: Police Provide Details on the Murder at the Karakert Club

On July 3rd, at 5:26 AM, the Baghramyan police department received a report from the Armavir Medical Center that three individuals were admitted for treatment with various serious injuries. The victims included a 24-year-old man diagnosed with a stab wound to the left thigh and a broken right arm, a 31-year-old man with a stab wound to the abdominal wall, liver damage, and internal bleeding, and a 53-year-old man with a penetrating stab wound to the abdominal wall. The 53-year-old man, identified as Kherob Hayrapetyan from the village of Karakert, later died in the hospital.

The Armenian police reported that operational investigative measures revealed that around 3 AM, a dispute among a group of individuals at the Karakert village club escalated into a fight during which a 23-year-old resident of the village of Arteni stabbed three Karakert residents. All three were transported to the hospital, where the 53-year-old man succumbed to his injuries.

In the aftermath of the incident, two residents of Arteni, aged 24 and 23, were located, arrested, and taken to the Baghramyan police department, where they confessed to the crime. They have since been presented to the Armavir Investigative Department.
