VIDEO: It's Shameful, You Questioned 2000 People, Did Anyone Say That Tsarukyan Gave Bribes, What Do You Want? Tsarukyan
Gagik Tsarukyan, the president of the Prosperous Armenia Party, denied his involvement in the alleged bribery case during a court hearing.
"I am simply ashamed of the evidence presented by the prosecutor, that after so much investigation, with 120 investigators, 2000 people interrogated, and many detained for 1-2 months, if the honorable prosecutor provides just one example where someone said that Tsarukyan gave them a bribe, then I will agree with him. But it is shameful that 2000 people were questioned, and no one has said that Tsarukyan has given bribes, it's shameful," he stated during the court session, adding, "We understand that there was a political situation, related to June 5, Tsarukyan made a statement saying that we have fallen into this trap today. Who did Tsarukyan give bribes to?"
The session has been adjourned; however, Tsarukyan has declined to answer journalists' questions. More details are in the video.
