Croatian Parliament Recognizes Ukraine's Holodomor as Genocide
The Croatian Parliament has adopted a resolution recognizing the famine in Ukraine from 1932 to 1933 as genocide against the Ukrainian people. This was announced by the President of the Parliament, Gordan Jandroković, according to TASS.
The decision was made unanimously, with 129 votes in favor. The resolution holds the Soviet leadership responsible for the deliberate organization of the Holodomor.
The document was presented to the parliament by the ruling majority of the Croatian Democratic Union party.
