Remove Fake Posts and Issue Denials: Artsakh Information Headquarters Warns
As previously reported, on June 28, violating the ceasefire, the Azerbaijani armed forces resorted to yet another provocative and aggressive act, resulting in the fatal injuries of four servicemen of the Defense Army of the Republic of Artsakh. This was reported by the Artsakh Information Headquarters.
Following this incident, false information began circulating on social media, violating the provisions of the decree signed by the President of the Republic of Artsakh on May 26 this year, which stipulates additional restrictions during the state of emergency.
According to these provisions, it is prohibited to seek, obtain, and disseminate information regarding the defense and security of the Republic of Artsakh by any means, including propaganda against them.
The competent authorities of the Republic of Artsakh will take necessary measures to hold accountable those who violate the provisions of the decree and to prevent such violations.
Therefore, we demand that individuals and media who posted false information regarding the consequences of today's Azerbaijani attack (including the presence of wounded and additional casualties) and information containing military secrets remove their posts and issue denials; otherwise, the measures of accountability applied may be more severe.
