Agreement Reached on Certain Points of the 'Peace Agreement', Armenian Foreign Ministry

From June 27 to 29, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held bilateral talks at the George Shultz National Foreign Affairs Training Center in Arlington, Virginia.

In Washington, the foreign ministers met with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan. According to the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the ministers and their teams continued to make progress on the draft of the 'Agreement on Peace and the Establishment of Inter-State Relations'.

They reached an agreement on several more articles of the draft agreement and recorded mutual understanding progress, while also noting that positions on several key issues require further work.

The two ministers expressed their appreciation to the American side for hosting the negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and reiterated their commitment to continue the negotiations.
