Azerbaijan Fires towards Artsakh: Four Casualties on the Armenian Side

The Azerbaijani military has opened fire towards Armenian positions, resulting in casualties on the Armenian side. The information was provided by the Ministry of Defense of Artsakh.

"On June 28, starting from 01:30, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces fired artillery towards the Armenian positions in Martuni and Martakert, also employing drones. The Armenian side has reported four fatalities," the statement reads.

As of 07:00, the situation along the contact line remains relatively stable. The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh will issue additional statements regarding the soldiers who lost their lives due to yet another Azerbaijani provocation. Yesterday, the Artsakh Ministry of Defense reported that on June 27, at around 19:40, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces violated the ceasefire in the direction of Martakert using mortars. It later became known that Azerbaijan continued to violate the ceasefire in the Martakert region, firing two shells from a 60 mm mortar towards the Kichan community at around 21:00, and one shell towards Jankatagh at approximately 21:30.
