France Calls for Protection of Civilian Population in Yeraskh

Paris calls for the protection of the civilian population in Yeraskh, according to a statement from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

France expressed regret over recent gunfire that impacted civilians in Yeraskh and the various armed incidents that have occurred over the past few days along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

“We urge restraint and the protection of civilians, as well as the full implementation of the international court's decision regarding the restoration of traffic in the corridor. France is fully committed to restoring peace for the benefit of the region's inhabitants,” the statement reads.
