Artsakh Foreign Ministry on Differing Opinions with Armenian Leadership
There is interagency cooperation between Armenia and Artsakh, but that does not mean we have the same views on all issues. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh, Sergey Ghazaryan, during a live broadcast on Alpha News, responding to a question about whether the leadership of Artsakh and Armenia has a unified action agenda regarding the resolution of military-political, economic, and humanitarian crises.
“We have repeatedly stated, during various meetings, that we openly defend our opinion. We have also stated many times that the threats faced by the Armenian people cannot be perceived in a separate format; there are no individual threats to Artsakh or Armenia. No, all threats and risks have a national character; this is a question of the existence of a national state. In our firm belief, in order to repel these threats, it is necessary to unite the full spectrum of Armenian capabilities, not only within the framework of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh’s relations. Without this, it will be very difficult to overcome all these problems and threats. As I said, there is cooperation, but there are also issues on which our opinions differ,” said the minister.
