Armenia's Deputy Prime Minister Sends Meeting Proposal to Azerbaijani Counterpart
The Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Mher Grigoryan, has sent a proposal for a meeting of the commissions on border demarcation between Armenia and Azerbaijan to Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev. This information was reported to Sputnik Armenia by the deputy prime minister's office.
The 12th meeting of the trilateral working group, co-chaired by Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk, and Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev, took place on June 2 in Moscow. Following the meeting, the Armenian government announced that significant progress had been made in coordinating the methods for unblocking transportation communications between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
"The purpose of the proposal is to discuss current problematic issues that are causing tension along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border," the Armenian Deputy Prime Minister's office informed.
