Video: Wagner's Military Equipment Damages Over 10,000 Square Meters of Road in Rostov-on-Don, Mayor Reports
Wagner's military equipment has damaged over 10,000 square meters of road in Rostov-on-Don. This information was disclosed by Mayor Alexey Logvinenko, as cited by RIA Novosti.
According to the mayor, municipal services established order near the Southern Military District Headquarters this morning, cleaning up debris near the circus and in the central streets of Rostov-on-Don.
“Preliminary data indicates that over 10,000 square meters of road have been damaged. Budyonnovsky Avenue has suffered the most,” Logvinenko stated.
He noted that municipal workers will begin repairing the roads today, with the work expected to be completed in two days.
It is worth mentioning that on the night of June 23-24, the forces of Wagner captured the Southern Military District Headquarters in Rostov-on-Don. Armed groups were moving around the city, and entry points were controlled by checkpoints. This occurred against the backdrop of Yevgeny Prigozhin’s statement, claiming that the Russian Armed Forces had conducted missile strikes on Wagner camps, a claim that has been denied by both the Ministry of Defense and the FSB.
A criminal case has been initiated against Prigozhin for organizing an armed rebellion. Russian President Vladimir Putin characterized the rebels' actions as a criminal adventure, a blow to Russia’s back, and treachery, driven by great ambitions and personal interests.
In order to prevent potential terrorist acts in Moscow, the Moscow region, and Voronezh, an anti-terrorist regime has been established.
