The citizen who reported the issue mentioned in an interview that the trees are being cut down at night to avoid complaints from residents, although complaints are still being made. He also added that about 40% of the trees have already been felled.

It is worth reminding that earlier, member of Yerevan City Council Isabella Abgaryan wrote on her Facebook page urging to monitor the compliance with construction norms on Aharonyan Street. She stated, 'Later we will say that the level of dust in the air is high. Residents of nearby buildings are suffocating with closed windows in the heat.'
