Tragic Accident in Kotayk Region: Opel Vectra Rolls 100 Meters Into Ravine, Casualty Confirmed

Today, June 23, a tragic accident occurred in the Kotayk region. Around 09:20, on the 123 km section of the Ijevan-Sevan-Yerevan highway, a vehicle identified as an Opel Vectra veered off the road under still unspecified circumstances, rolling approximately 100 meters before ending up in a ravine. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.

The injured individual received first aid from the emergency medical team dispatched from the 'Abovyan' Medical Center within moments of the incident.

While the investigative team was working at the scene, a report was received from the hospital to the Kotayk Police Department indicating that the injured person had passed away without regaining consciousness.

A criminal investigation has been launched regarding the details of the accident. The traffic police and the investigative department are working to establish the identity of the deceased driver.
