Renault Rolls Over on the Road to Jermuk, Injuries Reported

On June 22, at 09:30, the Crisis Management Center of the Vayots Dzor Regional Rescue Service received a call about an accident on the road from Yerevan to Megrit leading to the city of Jermuk. There are reported injuries and a gas leak is present.

The Emergency Situations Ministry has reported that an operational group from the regional rescue service, along with a firefighting unit, was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that a Renault vehicle (driver: Kh. H., born in 1989) flipped over on the road leading to Jermuk at the 5th kilometer of the Yerevan-Megrit highway, causing one-way traffic.

Before rescuers arrived, passengers R. Kh. (born in 1964) and V. Kh. (born in 1961) were extricated from the vehicle by local authorities and transported to Vayk Medical Center, where they received appropriate medical care and were later discharged.

Rescuers disconnected the vehicle's battery and closed the gas cylinder valve, restoring traffic flow.
