Milk Mixtures for Artsakh Children: Protest Held Near UN Armenia Office
A group of citizens held a protest today, June 23, in support of Artsakh near the UN office in Armenia. They brought milk mixtures and placed them in front of the building. According to the protesters, these mixtures are intended for the children of Artsakh, who have been left without food under total blockade conditions.
“We see that in different countries they play a significant role, but here in our country, they are indifferent; they are indifferent to our nation. By being here, having their office, they are obliged to take some action,” said former National Assembly member Sofia Hovsepyan, addressing the officials of the UN office in Armenia.
It is noteworthy that participants in the protest are currently waiting for representatives from the UN office to come out, meet with them, and promise that the milk mixtures will be delivered to Artsakh.
