Trump Claims He Stored Classified Documents with Golf Clothes
The former President of the United States, Donald Trump, who is accused of improperly handling classified documents, stated that he kept them at his home "with various items, golf shirts, and clothing." He made this remark during an interview with Fox News.
"I wanted to look at the shelves and take out all my personal belongings. And I have been very busy, as you might have noticed," said the 45th President of the United States.
Trump added that all documents found at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida had their classified markings removed. He asserted that he has every right to keep these documents at his home.
Donald Trump has been charged with 37 counts related to the improper preservation of more than 100 classified documents, which were discovered in August 2022 at his estate in Mar-a-Lago.
