Surens Papikyan has traveled to France
The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, has traveled to the French Republic heading a delegation for a working visit. This information has been reported by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
Recall that back in April, during a visit to Armenia, France's Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna announced the appointment of a military attaché at the French Embassy in Yerevan. Just a few days ago, Emmanuel Dupuy, director of the Institute for Security and Defense in Europe (IPSE), stated that France is preparing to supply 50 units of VAB MK3 armored personnel carriers to Armenia.
According to Dupuy, in addition to the mentioned vehicles, the possibility of Armenia acquiring Bastion and Sherpa armored vehicles produced by the French company Arquus is also being discussed.
