Chinese TikToker Pretends to Be Russian Special Forces and Sells Vodka
A Chinese TikToker has posed as a soldier from a Russian special forces unit in a combat zone, selling various products including vodka. This was reported by News.ru.
According to media reports, the individual, using the Douyin platform (the Chinese version of TikTok), claimed to be from Chechnya and goes by the name Baoer Kechatie. He boasted about 'fighting' against the U.S. Marines in Ukraine.
It was noted that the impostor had garnered 400,000 subscribers. However, users were puzzled by his accent, and his account was subsequently banned for posting false content. He managed to sell more than 200,000 items, including milk and honey from the Russian Federation.
