Another Incident Involving 'Liska's' Son: 'Haykakan Zhamanak'

“The notorious Liska’s son, Suren Khachatryan, seems that the times of the former mayor of Syunik have not ended in Goris.” This is reported by the newspaper “Haykakan Zhamanak.”

“His clan is now closely collaborating with the current authorities, while his sons continue to exhibit lawlessness in Syunik. Yesterday, an incident involving one of his sons, Tigran Khachatryan, occurred in Goris, with three separate occurrences happening consecutively. Tigran Khachatryan initially insulted the wife of a local policeman in a busy part of the city. Later, he got into a fight with a young man selling vegetables. In the evening, around eight o'clock, he instigated an argument with an employee from a vulcanization shop and subsequently shot at a 46-year-old man, hitting him in the right hand.”

“Our sources reveal that the injured man is a vulcanization worker named Armen, who is known in Goris as 'Chapghatzi Armen.' Our informants say that the incident was triggered when the vulcanization worker referred to Liska’s son as 'Tiko.' We have confirmed that the injured man is currently in the hospital in Goris and is scheduled for surgery.”

“Despite continued discussions about Liska’s son's new 'acts of bravery' not only in Goris but throughout the region, it turns out that the police have yet to locate him. The press service of the police informed us that an incident of hooliganism has been recorded and the related documents have been forwarded to the Investigative Committee. They also noted that the individual who committed the hooligan act and the weapon used are in the process of being identified.”

“People in Goris are not surprised by these developments, stating that Liska’s team is still working for Pashinyan’s team and collaborating with each other. As a result, Surik Khachatryan’s son continues to beat, shoot, and remain unpunished, just like before,” the newspaper writes.
