Video: A Permanent Shelter for Stray Animals to Be Built in Yerevan
A permanent shelter for stray animals will be constructed in Yerevan, according to the city mayor's office.
The facility is expected to accommodate up to 300 dogs, and it will provide space for animals to roam and exercise freely.
In the shelter, animals will undergo medical examinations, be sterilized, vaccinated, and placed under the constant supervision of veterinarians. Additionally, care for the animals will be provided by volunteers.
The program is currently in the design phase, and the "Animal Care Center" plans to establish approximately five shelters throughout the capital to address the issue of stray dogs.
