Eco-activists have painted on Claude Monet's "The Artist's Garden at Giverny" (1900) canvas and glued their hands to the frame. This was reported by Kp.ru.

It is noted that the incident took place at the National Museum in Stockholm. Fortunately, the artwork was not damaged as it was protected by glass.

Two eco-activist women have been taken into custody by the police.

It should be mentioned that this canvas is one of the many works created by the artist depicting his garden in Giverny. The painting features rows of flowers in shades of violet and pink. Monet created this artwork at the age of 60.
