VIDEO: The Sea in Odesa Turned Green After the Collapse of Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant
The sea in Odesa has turned green following the shelling of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant, local residents report.
Footage circulating online shows the sea water having a toxic green color.
According to Greenpeace calculations, as a result of the explosion at the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant, 32 objects submerged in water were contaminated with oil, chemicals, and gasoline.
In the early days of the disaster, at least 150 tons of engine oil spilled into the water.
