VIDEO: Flood in Sochi. The Mzestia River has inundated the city streets

Due to heavy rainfall and rising water levels, the Mzestia River has overflowed its banks in the Khoshinsky district of Sochi, reports the Krasnodar region operational headquarters.

Footage shows the water flooding the streets, with vehicles swimming in the rushing flow. Adjacent houses, basements, and ground floors are also inundated.

Emergency services are present on the scene, and some roads are closed. There are currently no reports of injuries.

The bridge over the Mzestia River is blocked by police personnel.
