We Have a Lot of Depleted Uranium Ammunition That We Will Use in Response: Putin
Russia has a significant stockpile of depleted uranium ammunition, but they are not currently being used. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“We have a lot of depleted uranium ammunition, and we will use them in response. There is no need for preemptive use,” he said during a meeting with military reporters.
According to Putin, the West is willing to supply depleted uranium ammunition to Ukraine, as there is nothing left in their own stockpiles. “There is probably some (ammunition) with depleted uranium in stockpiles. It is the easiest to supply, as expanding production is a hassle,” Putin stated.
