Trump Arrested Until Trial

The former President of the United States, Donald Trump, has been arrested until the start of the trial pertaining to the mishandling of classified documents in a federal court in Miami. This was reported by the BBC.

Attorneys Todd Blanche and Chris Keyes are expected to represent Trump in court, a source familiar with the matter told CNN.

Also a defendant in this case is Trump’s aide, Walt Nauta.

During the hearing, the judge will discuss a bail package that would allow the defendants to remain free while they await trial. There may be requirements that they notify the court’s probation office before traveling to certain locations.

Prosecutors may also request that Trump's and Nauta's contact with witnesses be restricted.
