What Did Pashinyan and Putin Discuss

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan highlighted the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh and the tense situation in the Lachin corridor during his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was reported on the official website of the Russian President.

“There has been no gas or electricity in Nagorno-Karabakh for several months. The situation in the Lachin corridor remains quite tense,” he noted. Pashinyan added that food supplies to Karabakh are being delivered with the mediation of Russian peacekeepers.

“I must emphasize that the delivery of food products to Nagorno-Karabakh is currently carried out with the assistance of Russian peacekeepers, and this is a limited quantity of food. Overall, the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh continues, and this is also a very important issue. I am confident that we will discuss it today,” the Prime Minister stated.

Earlier, the head of the information and public relations department of the Prime Minister's Office, Armen Khachatryan, stated that Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin would meet today in Sochi. Pashinyan has been in Sochi since June 7 for a three-day working visit. The Armenian Prime Minister participated in the EAEU Intergovernmental Council session.
