The Death Toll from the Destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Plant Has Reached Seven
In Kherson region, the death toll from the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric plant dam has reached seven. This was reported by Vladimir Saldo, head of the regional administration of the Russian Federation, on his Telegram channel, as per RTVI.
According to Saldo, 62 injured individuals have been hospitalized, and they are under medical supervision in healthcare facilities outside the "15-kilometer frontline zone."
Approximately 5,000 residents, including 178 children and 62 individuals with limited mobility, have been evacuated from the flooded areas. As of the evening of June 8, around a thousand people remain in temporary shelters.
