Toivo Klaar Has Departed to Azerbaijan After Armenia

“I am happy to return to Azerbaijan; today I am expecting interesting meetings and look forward to good discussions tomorrow.” This was written by Toivo Klaar, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia, on his Twitter page.

The EU official arrived in Baku for negotiations on the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Klaar had arrived in Armenia on June 5. The following day, he met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, and Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
