Fire in the Buoyrakan Dormitory: People Evacuated

On June 8, at 19:31, a call was received by the crisis management center of the Kotayk regional rescue administration reporting a fire that broke out in one of the rooms on the first floor of a dormitory building on Vazgen Sargsyan Street in the city of Buoyrakan. This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Two firefighting units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations fire and rescue departments in Yerevan and the regional rescue administration were dispatched to the scene.

The fire was contained by 19:52 and extinguished by 20:22. Approximately 15 square meters of property and household items were partially burned.

Rescuers evacuated two residents, who received appropriate medical assistance from emergency staff on site.
