VIDEO: US Authorities Cancel Flights at New York and New Jersey Airports Due to Smoke

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has suspended certain flights from Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey and to LaGuardia Airport in New York due to reduced visibility caused by smoke from forest fires in Canada. This was reported by CNBC.

It is noteworthy that New York has been shrouded in thick smoke due to the fires that have erupted in Canada. The city ranks second in the air quality index, surpassed only by Delhi, India. Authorities have urged residents to limit outdoor activities and wear masks. Outdoor events have also been canceled.
