VIDEO: How 1 Ton of Cocaine Was Discovered in Fruit Boxes - Mhiranyan Poghossian's New Video

Former National Assembly member Mhiranyan Poghossian has released a new video showing how employees of the 'Mrgeni' LLC discovered 1 ton of cocaine hidden inside fruit boxes.

It is worth noting that the National Security Service announced about the importation of 1 ton of cocaine worth approximately 250 million euros to Armenia one week ago, on May 17. According to a statement from the NSS, during the pre-investigation of a criminal case initiated on May 13, 2023, it was revealed that a company operating in Armenia and engaged in fruit importation brought in about 1 ton of cocaine, a drug valued at around 250 million euros, via transit countries, including the Republic of Panama, the Republic of Italy, and Georgia, after ordering the product from a company located in Ecuador. This significant drug amount has been discovered and is currently held by the National Security Service of Armenia.

Mhiranyan Poghossian, who has links to the company, also made a statement regarding this incident. Subsequently, the NSS released a second statement indicating that based on the obtained factual data, a decision has been made by the supervising prosecutor, upon the investigator's request, to initiate public criminal prosecution against M. Gh., the head of the imports and purchasing department of 'Mrgeni' LLC, for illegally selling exceptionally large quantities of drugs and drug smuggling, as per the relevant articles of the Armenian Criminal Code. He has been arrested in preparation for presentation in court.
