VIDEO: Numerous Children in Tairan Suffer from Intestinal Issues Due to Poor Quality Water

In the village of Tairan, part of the enlarged community of Parakar, there has been a long-standing issue with drinking water. According to residents, it is impossible to drink tap water during the summer months as it is replaced with artesian water that contains excessive chlorine.

In an interview with ArmLur.am, Tairan residents mentioned that many children in the village are suffering from intestinal issues, including diarrhea, with some requiring hospitalization.

The residents have repeatedly complained to various authorities about this problem, but have seen no results. Meanwhile, the ‘Viola Water’ company has responded to residents, claiming that the water meets the standards, and that the artesian water is mixed with drinking water due to insufficient supply for the residents.
