New Earthquake in Turkey
A new earthquake with a magnitude of 4.4 has been recorded in Turkey's Kahramanmaraş province, according to the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).
The tremors occurred in the Gökksun region at 19:40 local time. The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 11.41 kilometers.
It is worth noting that on February 6 at 05:17, another earthquake struck the same Kahramanmaraş province, causing destruction in several cities. Additionally, at 14:24 and 14:36 Yerevan time, two more strong earthquakes were registered. The seismic intensity in the epicentral zone reached 10-11 on the scale.
More than 50,000 people have been casualties of the earthquakes in Turkey.
