VIDEO. A Terrible Incident Has Occurred: Avinyan

The regular operational meeting of the Yerevan City Hall has commenced. Tigran Avinyan has requested information regarding the children involved in yesterday's car accident.

“Immediately after the car accident, the children were transported to the ‘Holy Mother of God’ medical center. One child was transferred to the ‘Saint Gregory the Illuminator’ medical center, where they underwent surgery and were subsequently taken back to the ‘Holy Mother of God’. The condition of three is extremely serious, and one is in end-stage condition,” said Davit Karapetyan, the head of Yerevan’s Health Department.

According to Karapetyan, the staff has been working all night and did not go home. “We do not have a shortage of medication or blood, despite what has been spread on social media. There was only a shortage of albumin, which has now been brought in. This is the accepted procedure,” the head of the Health Department added.

It is worth recalling that on May 27, a tragic car accident occurred in the Kotayk region. As a result of the accident, one person died on the spot, and seven others were taken to various hospitals in Abovyan and Yerevan with injuries of varying degrees.

According to Shamshyan.com, the deceased and several of the injured were residents of the Ararat region and were en route to Garni to participate in wrestling competitions dedicated to the memory of a fallen wrestler.
