VIDEO: Deputy Minister of Defense on Shootings at the Border

Deputy Minister of Defense Arman Sarkisyan addressed reporters regarding the statement made by the Syunik governor about the withdrawal of Azerbaijani forces in certain areas. “There have been reports about this, even if briefly, and I prefer not to comment on this sensitive topic. If I am not mistaken, he mentioned Nerk’in Hand and Teg, but it is still better for me not to elaborate,” he stated.

When asked about the current situation at the border, the deputy minister noted that it is relatively stable. “We had shootings yesterday, and relevant reports have been issued; we respond immediately in the case of intense gunfire,” Sarkisyan mentioned.
