Video: Negotiations between Ararat Mirzoyan and Sergey Lavrov Start in Moscow
Negotiations between Ararat Mirzoyan and Sergey Lavrov have commenced in Moscow. Lavrov noted that they are assessing the participation of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in the victory parade held in Moscow on May 9.
“We are interested in advancing all the agreements that have been reached between our leaders. First and foremost, trade and economic relations, which have become a real locomotive, but also integration processes within the framework of the EAEU, CIS, CSTO, and other organizations. However, the key issue is, of course, the resolution of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, which should be based on trilateral agreements regarding the delimitation of borders, unblocking of communications, peace negotiations, and other issues. Russia plays a historic role in this region and has very serious interests. I hope our allies understand that,” he stated.
It is noteworthy that earlier, bilateral negotiations took place between Lavrov and Bayramov. There are also plans for trilateral negotiations in the Mirzoyan-Lavrov-Bayramov format.
