Price Monitoring to be Conducted in Stepanakert and Surrounding Areas: Artsakh State Minister

Today, a regular meeting was held regarding the supply of humanitarian goods, the sale of local agricultural products, monitoring of retail and wholesale prices in the market, and supporting local producers. Artsakh State Minister Gurgen Nersisyan announced this on his Facebook page.

“The sector leaders presented their reports, detailing recent work, identified shortcomings, and areas for improvement. Based on the discussions, it was decided to provide maximum support to local agricultural product producers and to assist in bringing their products to market, taking all necessary measures to ensure the competitiveness and sale of local products.

Moving forward, the Artsakh Public Services and Economic Competition Regulation Commission will continue to establish the maximum thresholds for retail and wholesale prices in the market. Meanwhile, inspectors from the State Inspectorate Committees will conduct price monitoring in Stepanakert and surrounding areas, applying state enforcement measures against businesses that violate regulations.

Once again, we urge the public to promptly report any overpriced products found in the market compared to the established prices by contacting the Artsakh State Inspectorate Committees via the short number 5099,” he wrote.
